Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

sports carnivals
open classrooms and school tours
Harmony Week and Book Week events
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions
fundraising, charity and community events
award assemblies
graduation and other celebrations.

School Assemblies

Our whole school assemblies are held every second Friday in even weeks – Weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8 each term.

Families are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate student achievements, enjoy class presentations, and share important school news.

Upcoming Events

R U OKAY? Day

Date: 11th September 2025

Time: All day

FPS will be hosting an RUOK event on 14 September to bring Franklin Public School together and reinforce the RUOK? message. We are encouraging our students to wear something yellow as they participate in a range of activities to promote positive mental health.

NAIDOC Celebrations

Date: 25th September 2025

Time: All Day

On NAIDOC Day, we come together as a school to honour the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

P&C Meeting

Date: 9th September 2025

Time: 5:15pm

Our P&C meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the school staffroom. All parents and carers are warmly welcome to attend and get involved in supporting our school community.
