Exciting News- Nature Playground!
Miss Rossington met with Darren, our Senior Assets Services Officer, who will be leading the delivery of this wonderful new project at our school. Darren is just as excited as all of us to see this amazing nature playground come to life!

Over the past two weeks, our Years 2–6 students participated in Swim School, developing confidence in the water while practising important swimming and water safety skills. With beautiful weather and plenty of enthusiasm, students made great progress and thoroughly enjoyed each session in the pool.
Over four incredible days, our Stage 3 students travelled to Victoria, visiting iconic and educational sites including the Bendigo Deborah Gold Mine, Sovereign Hill, the Eureka Museum and Skydeck, Scienceworks, the MCG and the Old Melbourne Gaol.
Open Classrooms give families the opportunity to visit and experience children’s learning firsthand, celebrating their achievements with them and sharing in their classroom experiences.
Stage 2 enjoyed an exciting excursion to Borambola, where they took part in a range of outdoor activities and new experiences.
This term, we welcomed 18 enthusiastic students to our Early Explorers transition program, where smiles shone and new friendships blossomed as our little learners enjoyed fun activities to help them feel ready for school.
Our school had the incredible opportunity to welcome Grace Whyte, a talented player from the NSW Swifts netball team. Grace led a dynamic skills and drills session for our Stage 3 students, where she shared her expertise and passion for the game.
Remy Meredith had an outstanding performance at the NSW PSSA Cross Country event held in Sydney! He ran a personal best (PB), and also had Mr. Mastellotto, the Riverina Cross Country Manager, cheering him on and sharing a passion for athletics!
Franklin student Aida Lotter won the Magic of Wiradjuri Photography Competition – Junior Division! Aida was presented with a well-deserved prize, in Wagga during the holidays. She received a camera and her picture on a canvas, for her amazing work among amateur artists.
Our annual Spelling Bee was a fantastic morning, with class finalists confidently showcasing their skills. Congratulations to 1st place winners Dom Duncan (Stage 3) and Evelyn Chacos (Stage 2).
